Bill Utz with new super modified/sprinter at Saline Co. Speedway, Marshall, MO, in 1966. I believe this was a CAE chassis. It had a bolt-on cage and tail section to run super mod and a sprint car tail to run sprints w/o the cage. He set a new track record at Marshall the first time on the track running a 289 Ford. This car signalled the end of the home-built super modified in the Midwest. Utz went on win the IMCA Sprint Car championship driving for another owner.
